The Tigers From Niger: Interview + Nouveau titre en exclu!

GBH M: Hi TTFN! Where does this name come from?

TTFN: The name comes from our good friend Avery. We were all just talking one day and came up with it.

GBH M: Could you please tell us a little more about yourselves? How old are you, where do you live and how did you meet each other?

TTFN: Our ages are between 17-19 all 3 of us were born and raised in Honolulu Hawaii, and we still live right down the street from each other. And we have grown up together for as long as we can remember.

GBH M: What are your musical influences?

TTFN: Our musical influences range from Vampire Weekend, Toro Y Moi, Mac DeMarco, Drake, N.E.R.D., The Smiths! And so many other bands too many to name.

GBH M: I really fell in love with "Song of the Neon" and "The morning after" (which is part of our Top 50 2013 playlist)! Who does what in TTFN?

TTFN: Jon (the oldest) makes the beats and mixes everything and does some vocals, Paris does mostly vocals on the new EP he played guitar for some of the tracks, and Kaylee does all the singing for the hooks and such.

GBH M: So far, how many songs have you recorded?

TTFN: Man we have sooooo many songs some we will never release anytime soon and some that will come out in the next few months. But we have a lot of tunes!

GBH M: What are your plans for 2014?

TTFN: We have big plans but mostly big goals we want to accomplish and so we are focusing on those goals for now. But we want to work with Pharrell and Lil B!

GBH M: Any word for your french audience?

TTFN: Hmmm if you have dreams make them come true, don't wait for things to happen! Summer forever.
